Community Mobilisation and Outreach
We have a great reputation in community engagements and mobilization through our outreach programmes and the demography of our community project stretching across Zambia. This makes it easier for Green Initiative Zambia even when undertaking Scoping meeting in the different diverse communities across the country.
Environmental Education and Development of Training and Educational Materials
We facilitate community-based tree planting initiatives to combat deforestation and enhance biodiversity. By involving local communities, we promote environmental conservation while providing benefits such as improved air quality and climate resilience, making a significant impact on local ecosystems and communities.
Educational Materials Development
We have been known of providing environmental and climate change education materials from conceptualizing to printing. These educational material carry significant topics of our day to day life from school going children to community at large. These educational materials materials are used countrywide since 2013. The latest Environmental Education Manual was published in 2025.
Environmental Restoration and Remediation
Green Initiative has been undertaking tree planting since 2011 with different objectives. With the increase degradation of the environment through industrial mine pollution and human activities Green Initiative is placed as the institution of choice to deal with restoration and remediation. Green Initiative Zambia possesses world class expertise in environmental monitoring through its air, water, noise monitoring through our state-of-the-art multi-meter devices. We also have our own Tree Nurseries growing indigenous and exotic species of trees, grass and flowers.
Tailings Dam Management
We provide expert tailings dam management solutions to ensure safe handling and storage of mining waste. Our services focus on risk assessment, environmental protection, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability.
